Biography
Janeen Uzzell is CEO of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), the largest student-run organization in the U.S., with 26,000+ members. A mechanical engineer and National Academy of Engineering member, she was previously COO of the Wikimedia Foundation, launching the $4.5M Knowledge Equity Fund, and spent nearly two decades at GE leading Women in Technology and healthcare initiatives across Africa. Honors include the UN Global Leadership Award, ADWEEK's Top Black Women Trailblazers in Tech, and a Biden appointment to the White House HBCU Board. She serves on the boards of Mercy Ships and DFree Global, and chairs the Greybridge SPAC.
