Biography

Dr. Uché Blackstock is a physician, health care systems architect, and Founder and CEO of Advancing Health Equity, where she partners with organizations to redesign how care is delivered, led, and experienced. A Harvard Medical School graduate and board-certified emergency physician, she is recognized for advancing health care quality, accountability, and systems change. She is also the New York Times bestselling author of Legacy: A Black Physician Reckons with Racism in Medicine. Through her consulting, writing, and media work, Dr. Blackstock calls for equity to be treated as a measurable performance standard, not merely an ideal.
